![]() To help you navigate the Cycladic homes available, we thought we'd bring you the best of the Airbnb Cyclades Category, where you can see all the most beautiful whitewashed houses of Santorini, Mykonos, Tinos, Milos and Naxos without having to trawl through thousands of holiday homes. Its selection of Cyclades Airbnbs is one of more than 50 Categories and includes Naxos stays, Paros holiday homes, Mykonos beach houses and other Greek island Airbnbs. If you've always wanted to stay in a traditional Cycladic villa, now is the time to get planning as Airbnb has an entire Category dedicated to Cycladic holiday rentals. Whether you’re staying for a couple of days or longer, I hope this guide has helped you narrow down your options for where to stay in Paros.Think of the Greek islands and you probably picture the white, cuboid Cycladic houses built into cliffs overlooking the Aegean Sea on the likes of Santorini and Mykonos.ĭesigned to reflect the summer sun so they're cooler and more comfortable inside, these houses with limestone whitewash exteriors typically feature red, green or blue doors and windows for a picture-perfect contrast. If you’re still unsure where to stay, you can’t go wrong with Lefkes Village! It’s affordable and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. One of my favourite beaches was Livadia Beach, I spent a few days swimming in the the crystal clear waters and reading my book there. In Paros, you’ll be greeted with gorgeous sandy beaches, fascinating architecture and an abundance of restaurants. Mykonos was touristy, expensive, and packed, but Paros offered a quieter, more authentic, affordable haven. I travelled to Paros from Mykonos at the end of May, and the difference between the Cycladean islands was immense. Paros is generally a quieter destination, although the best time to visit Greece to avoid tourist crowds is usually between September and May. Sometimes, the best holiday locations are those not everyone talks about. The Cyclades are great for island hopping in general, and if you pack the right stuff, you can spend well over a month exploring these islands. Just hop on a ferry from Mykonos and enjoy the boat ride there. YES- it’s convenient and safe to travel to Paros. Instead of white sands, you’ll find clay mud – but it’s a great excuse to spend the afternoon exfoliating. If you’re looking for something different and off the beaten track, Kalogeros Beach is a good choice. You can spend the day swimming in the clear waters, exploring the caves and relaxing. One of my favourites is Mini Santa Maria Beach, which is situated about 10 minutes from Nouassa. Paros has so many gorgeous beaches to choose from there’s a beach to satisfy everyone on this island. You’re more likely to escape the crowds and admire local life in Lefkes. If you’re looking for somewhere a little quieter and off the beaten track, I recommend heading up into the mountains and staying in Lefkes. ![]() You can easily find nice shops, restaurants and white-sand beaches in Parikia, too. It’s where the main port is, as well as where you’ll find most of the nightlife. Parikia, one of the main towns, is the best place to stay in Paros if you’re travelling on a budget. Unique for its clay mud, you can spend an afternoon exfoliating here. If you’re looking for something off the beaten track, Kalogeros Beach is a good choice. ![]() The best beach in Paros is Mini Santa Maria Beach, situated 10 minutes from Nouassa, far from the crowds. With a great mix of attractions, beautiful beaches, and restaurants, it’s the ideal choice for families when deciding where to stay in Paros. The capital city, Parikia is the final area on my list. Prices are more local in this area, so you can save money on accommodation and dining on your visit (think $3 Souvlakis!). Lefkes is a well-known hiking destination and ideal for anyone travelling to Greece on a budget. This little village is a popular resort location and home to some of the most stunning beaches. If you’re deciding where to stay in Paros for your first visit, head to Naoussa. But don’t feel overwhelmed – I’ve compiled this list of the best places to stay on Paros Island! ![]() Each place offers something slightly different, so it’s important to explore all the many options that are available to you. Paros isn’t as competitive as other places to stay in Greece, but it can be difficult to work out the best area for your travel needs. CHECK TOP AIRBNB CHECK TOP HOSTEL CHECK TOP HOTEL
